Prove it on Konkura.com and win a free team place in The Soldier Challenge
23 February 2011:
ABF’s flagship urban adventure race, The Soldier Challenge, will take place in central London on 26 March 2011. Teams of 2-4 people from all walks of life will compete in a high-adrenalin set of 35 challenges across the capital, including the chance to access major military landmarks in a way never normally available – such as an obstacle course in the moat at the Tower of London – all related to the skills required to be first-class soldier.
To get potential competitors fit and ready for the main event, and give them a taste of what to expect on the day, Konkura.com have teamed up with The Soldier Challenge’s organisers, Rat Race Adventure, to create two tough workout challenges – the Urban 300 park bench workout, and the killer Bastardos til you drop challenge.
Everyone who takes part in the Konkura challenges will get a chance to win a free team place, worth up to £140 for a team of 4, for the main event on March 26. The winner will be picked at random from amongst the entrants to both Konkura challenges, and announced on 7 March.
Phil Worthington, creator of Konkura.com, said “We’re delighted to be able to support ABF’s event in this way. The Soldier Challenge will be a fantastic adventure for the people who take part, whatever their fitness and ability level, and taking part in the Konkura challenges is a great way to get ready for it. We’re always happy to help charities promote their sport and fitness-based fundraising events.”
